Honestly? No, but it's the way the system works. According to the convoluted BCS rankings, they ARE the highest BCS ranked team in the country right now.
If MU loses the Big 12 championship game next week, then perhaps we'll get to see Chase Daniel and Tim Tebow meet on the gridiron as well as in New York City. That would be an exciting game, I think. The Visscher Bowl.

I am a die-hard Mountaineer fan...........In my heart I believe they should be #1.............but which team am I talking about??? Take for instance the UConn game. The first half Mounties I would have to say Mizzou should be No. 1, however the Mounties of the second half, I belive, couldn't be stopped by any team in the country.

Yes. The way they have been playing is Phenomanal! They are a tough team who doesnt give up and they deserve it.

they've played the best ball lately so i'd have to give it them even though west virginia is a very close second
