Not quite, but I had a star registered and named after my boyfriend when he was dying of HIV/AIDS does that count?
He died in my arms asleep, Dec 20th 1996 aged 29.
He was a real star and he cried at the thought of leaving me behind alone, does that count?
Now there is a star forever registered in the USA Library of Congress & British Museum as:- Andrew Roger Smith
Querky, but I like the idea of aliens coming from that star system and all the world leaders having to explain it is named after a cheeky fun loving young gay Cornishman.
