The problem here is that Anderson becomes a restricted free agent this year. This means another team could make a run at him and the way he is playing right now you do not want to lose this guy. The way he is playing some team might even be willing to give up a first and third (depending on the tender the Browns put on Derek).
Quinn is unproven and although there are high expectations for him a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
I say keep both on the roster (if you can) for next season because every QB is one play away from getting hurt and having two quality QBs on the roster is such a luxery. Then, if Anderson has another year like this you trade Quinn or if Anderson is a pretender you play Quinn.

First off, they will not trade Quinn. He's not taking up THAT much cap room, and the Browns do not know for sure that A.) DA's success is not because of the huge improvements to the offense rather than his own talent, and B.) Quinn could not run the offense as well or better than DA with their current weapons. DA has had a ton of time to throw the ball behind a hugely improved offensive line, and insiders in Berea have said that Quinn is lighting it up at practice.
Also, Derek Anderson's contract situation makes for an interesting twist. If the Browns offer DA maximum tender (something like $2.2 million) any other team that would like to sign him would be required to give the Browns a first and third round draft pick. If the Browns feel Quinn could run the offense effectively, it might be hard to pass up if someone makes that offer. This is a big "if", but it is certainly a possibility.
In the end, it will probably boil down to what DA wants. If someone offers him something ridiculous like $30 million over 5 years, it will likely be very hard for the Browns to justify matching it with Quinn available and those 2 draft picks dangling in front of their faces. If DA will settle for a lesser contract similar to Quinn's, then they will likely sign him, then decide at the end of 2008 if they want to get rid of either Quinn or Anderson. I feel this is most likely scenario, but not set in stone. There are a lot of variables, so almost anything could happen.

Even if Anderson doesn't make the playoffs the Browns will probably still stick with him...he's resurrected an embarrassing squad into playoff contenders...So I'm guessing that they'll keep him because he still has a long way to go barring injury...Quinn is still their future, but more than likely he will definitely not be happy in just sitting on the bench and watching Anderson, which means Quinn will probably be traded. Unless he has no problem with being a bench warmer.

I'd keep both; I don't think a trade would happen. Quinn could probably still use some backup time, and if Anderson is winning, I think they will keep him. Could make for an interesting training camp, though. I'd love to see the Browns in the playoffs!

Quinn screwed his own self in the keister by being a holdout during camp. Anderson rose to the occasion and seized the reins. If Quinn was smart, he'd watch Anderson and try to learn what it is to be a leader and a grownup.

they are probably going to keep both and wait through the offseason. Might be a preseason decision. Quinn isnt worth it but thats my opinion. Derek Anderson is the greatest qb to not have been the teams #1 at the beginning of the season!

Anderson should be a RFA, so they will have the opportunity to trade him but its not easy to trade a winner for an unproven QB. There is a reason Brady Quinn fell to the bottom of the first round.

Trade Brady Quinn when they can because he's never going to be half the player Derek Anderson is right now.
