.....do you take that as solid evidence that you are on the right track? Like, for instance, if you are considering a military surge and a democrat says, "No. That won't work. It'll only increase the violence", do you think, "Hey this person is from the party that ran the Vietnam fiasco and got 58,000 of our troops killed, and then tried to blame it on Nixon. Who are they to give military advice?" ....or do you think, "Hey, we're going to be putting in more soldiers, so of course there'll be more violence: - our guys doing it to the bad guys. DUH!!! Useful insight there democrat!!" Do you find as I do that the nonsense and blather from the left serves to stimulate and highlight correct thinking and provides contrast to make the right choice more obvious?

Not really. They had the same problem in Viet Nam. Couldn't tell who the enemy was. Nixon fibbed and its really difficult to solidly support someone you don't find to be credible any longer. Nixon got most of the military out of VN before the funds were cut off.

Muqtada Al Sadr called a 6 month truce in Iraq. That is one of the reasons the surge worked. The Suni's turned on Al Qaeda. Things are flaring up their again this weekend. The violence is what it was before Feb 2006 when the Mosque was blown up. I'm not arguing for or against because it doesn't matter what I think about it. In the end, it is up to Iraq to fix their country.

The majority of Democrats in Congress voted against the Iraq War Resolution. If Bush had paid attention to the Democrats we wouldn’t be in Iraq to begin with so we wouldn’t be concerned about whether the surge is working. We also wouldn’t be spending billions of dollars each week, wouldn’t be as despised around the world and we might even have been more successful in eliminating Al Qaeda. So your reasoning doesn’t hold up.

in case you are able to't comprehend the way the U. S.'s mere presence in Iraq is inflicting bitterness and unrest between Iraqis, and that there'll not in any respect be a time contained in the occupation of Iraq even as our squaddies are not getting blown up by roadside bombs, IED's, and shot at by snipers then there is not any longer something extra to assert. if you're no longer getting it, you are able to't. why have you ever forgotten the teachings realized in Vietnam? that even a superpower can not upward push up antagonistic to infinite guerrilla conflict. it truly is the point of guerrilla conflict; to defeat a extra large, advanced, modern enemy with a lot less elements over a lengthy era of time.

Oh and they are also the party that ran with their tails between their legs in Somalia.

Clinton sent more tanks (3) to Waco, Texas. Than he did to Somalia (0).

Yes the more hatred the left spews at you, the more confident I am in my choice as being correct.
