It doesn't even have to be something big. Anything. Last Valentines day it snowed here, really bad. roads were closed and everything, and I was really pissed that I wouldn't be able to see my then boyfriend. I went back to bed, and woke up to him in my room playing on his guitar and singing "Good Morning Beautiful" by Steve Holy. Definitely the best thing a guy has ever done for me. It was really sweet. I still have no idea how he managed to get there. So what's the best thing a guy has done for you? :)

My now fiance, drove 12 hours straight to come home and see me and then crawled in the window of my room and was there when I woke up. Oh, and then there was the Mother's Day, he and our son went out for almost two hours picking the most pretty wildflowers for me. It was the best bouquet I have ever gotten!

With all the wonderful answers listed mine may seem a bit odd, but here you go.
One time while my husband and I were at a birthday party with a band I looked over and saw my sister-in-laws mother setting there in her wheel chair looking very sad. I asked my precious husband if he would be kind enough to ask her to dance. He said, "Honey, she cannot dance she is in a wheel chair." I insisted anyway so he went over to ask her to dance, that lovely woman took her chair out on the floor and really got it rocking. I saw my husband look at me from across the dance floor and I could see the love in his eyes. Knowing that he would help someone else for me was very romantic. Sadly, about one month later she passed but at her funeral they all commented on the last dance she had. What a man I have!

Eh, I'm still young. But in Kindergarten I had a crush on this boy and he had one on me, except we pretended we didn't like each other. We were drawing names in a hat, and had to make a Valentines day card for the person we got. Right before the teacher started passing around the hat, we were both saying things like "Ew, I hope I don't pick you", and we didn't pick each other, but on Valentines day he made me an extra card and gave it to me. It was really sweet and I still have it. :)

This is going to sound silly, but I went on a weekender with my guy soon after we got together with some of his "friends". I couldn't get along with them, so decided to take a Greyhound bus home. He was waiting for me at the bus station with a beer. That was 4 years ago.

Right after finding out that I had always wanted to learn to play the flute; he ordered me one and had it sent to my home...I cried and cried. That is such a romantic wonderful thing that he did. Tomorrow I get to meet this wonderful man in person. My heart is beating very hard and the excitement level is astronomically high.

My husband proposed to me infront of about 300 people. I used to sing in a band and we were playing for a wedding dance. He stood up infront of everyone, on microphones, asked my parents for their blessing, turned to me, got down on one knee, opened a ring box and asked me to marry him. Then I had to sing the next song. I totally screwed it up but it was worth it. 3 1/2 years so far and all is going great.

Wow, I've never had anything like that happen,
then again I'm only 15, and never had a boyfriend.
But this little kid I know liked me and instead of giving me these cheesy little valentines he made, he made me this huge card and literally poured his heart into it.
That's as romantic as I've ever gotten.

while he was deployed before the injury, he would always send me something every couple of weeks, either a shirt or jewelry when he was able to shop. Attached was a note, about how much he loved me
