No one thought they were going to be a playoff team last year either though. I am a ravens fan still but they have looked bad this year due mostly to injuries but also McNair getting old fast and not having a great backup in Boller. How many other teams have 5 starters out right now? They lost Adalius thomas who created a ton of the defense. The play calling has been poor as well considering that we aren't doing enough running plays with Willis Mcgahee. I am anticipating another Patriots blowout next monday but we will see how it goes. Ravens fans have been trying to sell their season tickets for the pats game as fast as they can. If they keep the Pats to less than 30 points it will be a miracle.

They are like the Miami Dolphins. The defense is starting to age, they've been together for several years and the offense hasn't gotten any better over the past several seasons. They have quarterback issues and that's a huge factor. Now the defense is struggling because they can't play for 25 minutes a half out on the field and it takes a toll on everyone in the organization. Baltimore doesn't have the offense to keep up with other AFC teams, it's time to start rebuilding, starting with getting a quarterback.

It's ez, their QB, McNair sux, he's old, banged up & needs to retire. The DEF is also old & banged up & the loss of Thomas hurt ya'll real bad, despite what Ray "Big Mouth, Small Time" Lewis thinks. No receivers what so ever, Heap's hurt all year. The O-line sux & u'r depending on Boller to get it done. Also u have the most overrated coach out there. 13-3 last year was a fluke. U had a weak division, PIT was banged up, and on a Super Bowl hangover, CLE well that just speaks for itself & CIN spent the year in prison. So there was 6 ez wins for u. The D was a ton better last year & like I said, losing Thomas kills u, but I thank u for him cuz he's on the best team ever now!

coach sucks, offensive line sucks, best players on the sideline due to injury (Heap, McCalister, Pryce).
Edit
Actually losing Thomas hasnt hurt them as much as I thought it would. Jared Johnson is having a decent season. The problems is not the defense. The problem is the offense that cant seem to hold onto the ball long enough for the defense to get a breather. They miss Tony Pasho's, the RT they let go to Jacksonville, alot more. Dont believe me check out that oline in the second half.

It's funny because when Adalius Thomas left, many people just assumed that the Ravens would plug in someone for him effectively like they always have, and instead thought that Thomas might not be good for the Patriots.

Our Defense is there but our offense truly sucks balls. McNair needs to retire or Billick needs a new offensive scheme. Im glad they sart Boller and at least were hanging in their against San Diego today.

the offense the offense the offense...my lowly bungals beat 'em twice this yr...thats must be a new low for them?!
they need free agent proven WRs not college draftees that usu can't cut it at that position also the playcally-ing too dependent on the run to appease that defense...which is often overstretched and folding amid too much hype and expectations
