Hmm depending on his likes. Adventourous? Get him a new back pack with equipment he can go camping or rock climbing with or skydiving trip. Sports? Buy some old sports memorabilia or workout equipment that'll keep him busy. Handyman? Buy him a drill or saw of his dreams or get him some material to work on the house with. Auto Mechanic? Take an interest into his truck or car and find ways to improve (new speakers or spoiler). Techgeek? Buy him either a PDA, Router, external harddrive. Family Oriented? Buy him something that he can set to for the future maybe material for a treehouse or something he can build for a future. Hope that helps.

When a person says they don't want any presents, it could mean , they DON'T want any presents. In this day and age, with the high cost of necessities, possibly he would rather not have to feel like he needs to spend money he can ill afford to buy presents and would also feel uncomfortable recieving them. Just a guess.

Video games? Music? Gift cards to stores he likes? Something personal, but not too much since he doesn't seem to want anything to begin with.
