I have no idea why the left keeps attacking Bush, He was the classic Tax and Spend man. Why progressives and Dems should be building monuments to this guy. He set the bar so high for spending, that it would take a true subversive like Obama to blow bush out of the water. What a pair of complete Idiots.

25 million Mexicans found employment (He should get a noble prize for that alone).
Stock in weapons manufactures all over the world has never been higher (meaning jobs and employment for 10s of thousands of people, mostly German).
The art of torture has been revived so there is finally something to do with the millions of unsold weight loss machines on late night television (hand me that cool one with the electrodes Igor. Yesss Master).
Same goes for unsold cattle prods.
The CIA has a new enemy that can never surrender like disappointing old communism (Yay they have a purpose again).
America has been united under a new and exciting concept that can justify nearly any act of government no matter how vile. FEAR.

Bush is a visionary when you spin it just right.

Hey Jon B!

Less Taxes- yeah, to the really really rich people!

Roaring Economy- do you watch the news! let's see- stock market's plummeting and we're in massive debt

No terrorist attacks for 6 years- and what do you call England and Spain !?!?, Just cuz it's no t happening to us right now doesn't mean that Bush did anything to help (in fact, if you look closely, the UK has actually been the one helping us from getting attacked)

Iraq's people are free from rape rooms- again, what do you call Abeu Grab?

nothing he could do (e.g. good deeds) could outway all the innocent lives lost in Iraq (soliders from both sides- and sadly civilians)...
the war is deemed illegal by the United Nations and the international community (i.e it has no links to 9/11 or Bin Laden)... terrorism is not new (we all forget Tim McVay)..

it is sooooo sad to see people thinking this way- read the real news... who wants to read the history books in 20yrs and be surprised at what they discover?!

very very sad stuff

I can't think of any, but want to answer this question and come back to it later....I would really like to see anything positive....I think he's crummy, but hope he has done something good. I remember that he set aside a few acres in Hawaii for habitat....but then he let logging and mining companies loose everywhere else....doesn't really offset anything to the positive there...and as far as the economy booming....the entire economy is a house of cards, the dollar is becoming wothless, the lending institutions are experiencing problems not seen since 1929, oil is $100 a barrel...so please don't be stupid and say the economy is booming

Not really - Other than it got me interested in politics again... out of anger...

Funny story -

I know a girl who is not very bright...

She knows she doesn't like Bush though, so we just sort of tolerate her.

One day, she was talking to a very pompous man I know. He frowned at her when she said she doesn't like George Bush.

He then smiled knowingly and said, "Well you know, Congress has an even lower approval rating than the President..."

Quick as whip, she shrugged and said:
"Yeah, but aren't half of them Bush's friends and the other half asleep, anyway?"

I've never laughed so hard in all my life...

Sometimes there is perfect truth in simple ignorance.
