ok, they arent wood floors. we stained our concrete. we put the wax on, and buffed it, but it still looks hazy.

Assuming you purchased the right wax, assuming you gave it time to dry, I would agree that it needs buffed to bring out the shine.

Concrete shouldnt be waxed..they have a concrete clear coat for that....The wax also was probably put on in high humidity..or the stain wasn't dry..or just the thought of waxing in general..you do not wax a concrete floor...They make concrete wax.. but it isn't very effecient..You could have used a gloss concrete sealer that would last forever..

With all due respect; are you speaking of stained floors that weren't clear coated?

If they were varnished/ epoxied/ or coated with Polyeurethane YOU need no wax,,,ever.

Certainly as others suggest, without knowing at all the formula you applied; it might be difficult for us to resolve the issue

Most floors already have a shine. If you put wax on them then you may have to get a professional to sand down your floors and re-stain.

What kind of wax? Possibly could be moisture in the wood.
