the world is a thing, things are not bad, people can act in negative ways, and use theirselfs or things in bad ways, at the same time most people act in , for the most part, positive good ways
when the bad seems overwhelming, and it does get more publicity often, just think of the good, whether people or nature
and keep in mind your perceptions come from what you see, how you are influenced, how that makes you feel
and most media, as i said, focuses on the negative
someone kills someone- thats news
someone helps someone-that often is not noticed
then look at your role in all of this, why do you feel like a lamb that is going to be slaughtered? are you living in a way that puts you in direct danger? have you not learned safety methods? have you not educated yourself on the bad, and what to avoid? you are not a helpless person in this world, to a great extent you can help yourself

The way I see it, there are two ways of looking at this world. You can either:
1) feel like the world is going to slaughter you like an innocent lamb and just feel bad for yourself and for the world and all the people who are just victims and not do anything about it or......]
b).Look at the problem as an opportunity to make things right. Say you're worried about global warming, think about the following questions
1) What are my talents? How can I use them to solve this problem?
2) Do I know any possible people who might be interested in helping my cause? Remember, If people band together there is nothing you can't solve. Think about an empty bucket sitting under a leaky faucet with the water falling at a rate of one drop per second. Sure, after five minutes, it won't seem like the water is making any difference, but come back a week later, you'll see a difference, trust me. This is what happens when each person does their part, even if it is a little bit
Yes, this world is bad, but is YOUR responsibility as a citizen of that world to do something about it . We're all in this together.

i dont really know how bad it is, but i certainly don't like it. it's not very fair. there are the poor, the starving, the working poor(that's us, we're about to loose our house, i put a question up if you know how to help us). and the gove. doesn't even seem to care. none of them. its all about spending billions on the war, raising taxes and prices without raising the work pay. its definately not fair. i know how u feel too, the whole lamb slaughtering thing. i feel he same way when it comes to this.

I think the world is tough, full of competition and apathy due to utter materialism, but not really bad...... if we do look for good, we can definitely find. What we need to do is to prop up our self confidence..... the first step towards this is to take small steps to begin with with short term simple goals and as we succeed in those small steps, our confidence would be restored and strengthened and then we would be ready to face the problems in this world. Real success and victory lies in not giving up.

the world is not bad....but the people is....the world is a beautiful creation of God....and Man....the ultimate creation...but...Man made the God's creation appear to be bad...it is not the world's fault that you think like this...it is the men who are living in this world...who forces you to think like this...there is a cloak of madness covered over the world....like the snow on the flower beds...once the cloak is removed...we could the see beauty of the world as we can see the beautiful flowers when the snow melts away....
