ok, my evil drama teacher gave our class an assignment i don't comprehend at all!!! there is this guy Constantin Stanislavski and we have take detailed notes on chapter 14 of his book building a character. could someone help. if you can't find this online i can email you the chapter.

Constantin Stanislavski is the guy that came up with the concept of Method Acting.

Maybe you agree with what Stanislavski says in that chapter, maybe you don't. Either way, don't worry. Just imagine that you're trying to explain to a friend what Stanislavski is saying. Imagine that your friend isn't as into theatre as you are, so you know a whole lot more about acting than your friend does. There are lots of different ideas about how an actor should prepare to play a character. Your job is just to explain this one guy's ideas. Remember, you don't have to agree with his ideas, you just have to give an outline of what they are.
