Use of Castrol Oil (or even Olive Oil in higher amounts) helps labor sinceit makes the babies head slide easier thru the pelvic tribone area. Remember once the babies head it out everything is almost out.
Use the Oil as suggested it really helps to get a very smooth and FAST labor.
MYTH: Castrol Oil will reduce pain ... sorry that probably wont happen ... just gives to higher chances of vaginal birth and in a quicker time.

castrol oil is for cars, DO NOT drink it!
You mean castor oil, made from castor beans. it doesn't induce labor, it makes you go to the bathroom, and maybe for some women, straining at the toilet can bring on labor.
But don't take castor oil either, just let mother nature take her course, that little apple WILL fall off the tree when it's ripe!

That's Caster oil, not Castrol oil! (Castrol oil goes into motor cars). My wife tried it and the labour started within hours. But she was overdue anyway. Trouble is they don't tell you how much to take! In the end I had to hide the bottle from her for fear she'd overdose.

don't do it...
think about it.... Castor(not castrol oil btw) oil is a laxative.. you WILL have the runs and might NOT go into labor .. and IF you do go into labor.. you'll be in labor AND have the runs... sounds fun huh? lmao

It is a wives tale that it induces labor. How I am not sure. I think its because it causes stomach cramps and severe runs sometimes . My doc didnt recommend it.

It makes you Shiit like crazy and this helps to induce- only if your near to the due date or late.
My Girlfriend did this, and it worked for her. The best thing about using it is that when you do push the baby out, you won't shiit yourself and the doctor for that matter.

Castor oil causes the bowel to cramp severely thus irritating the surrounding muscles (including the uterus ) this irrittation can sometimes cause the uterus to begin to contract (sometimes it just make you sit on the toilet all night though !
