Yes. Every last one of them! Our economy is in the crapper, the education system needs more funding, we have so many citizens going without basic healthcare... yet these idiots get paid MILLIONS and still demand more. Someone else called them unappreciative, and I couldn't agree more.

Based on free market economics they are paid exactly what they are worth, in the sense that fans willingly pay for tickets and networks pay for broadcast rights in sufficient amounts to pay the athlete's salaries. In sports that impose an artificially (low) salary caps you could argue that the athletes are UNDERPAID. Large numbers of people will say athletes are overpaid out of pure jealousy, or the mistaken notion that pay should reflect the amount of physical or mental work that goes into the job. If that were true ditch-diggers would be millionaires.

Extremely overpaid and most are very unappreciative. Could you imagine playing games that you loved as a child for a profession? And getting paid way too much for it? It's way out of hand now....and sad.

As long as ownership is able to pay ridiculous salaries and fans are able to pay ridiculous ticket prices, count on ahtletes being overpaid.
Throw a fair sized economic slump into the mix (where a sports ticket is a less affordable luxury), and major sports would collapse on their collective rumps!
