Give you a big hug and ask you what was wrong?
Then I'd wait until you were ready to talk, if you wanted to, and help you try and resolve whatever was making you upset!
Finally, if appropriate, I'd try and make you laugh and forget your troubles!

I would sit you down and ask, " want to talk about It, sometimes It pays to talk to someone, especially If that person has been where you are,? I know It hurts but I'm here to be with you and help you though It. Here's my business card, call me, I'm here If you want to talk".

I would hold out my arms to hug you, and let you cry it out. Then ask you what has you so upset. Sometimes it is just a hug we need to help us feel better and think clearer.
