I receive alot of service calls like this. The best thing to do is call the power company first. Have them check the voltage under load. If they cant find the problem on their end, call a reputable electrical service company to come check it out. Anyone who thinks they can diagnose the problem on here is just crazy.

You need to consult an electrician to see if you have too much electrical draw on your breakers or if the breakers themselves need to be replaced. The electrician can tell you if the problem is inside your house. If it's not, then there should be a number on your electric bill or in the phone book where you can report a problem. We had a flickering problem every time it would get windy. The problem turned out to be some loose wires in a transformer on a pole outside the house. Our electric provider quickly repaired the wiring and the problem was over. Good luck.

Call the power company and tell them exactly what is happening. Does it happen when it is windy outside? Any other symptoms you can think of? Tree branches and loose connections can cause a problem like you are describing. If their connections are ok, call an electrician to check your inside wiring. Do it soon, don't let it go on.

you probably have a a common problem called, "too many things running on one circuit". Many times, especially in kitchens the original builders did not run enough seperate circuits for all of todays appliances to run properly. They also had a bad habit of tying the lights into this circuit as well. So, when too much power is being pulled through the line it causes the lights to flicker. Have an electrician look at you sysytem, they can give you suggestions as to what can be done to alleviate the problems you are having.

You either have a loose connection from or at the pole, at your meter, or at your fuse/breaker box. Could also be a bad/loose neutral wire. Call the Electric Company first. They will check the outside , but you may have to call an electrician to check the inside.
