im thinking of buying a vauxhll zafira life automatic, however i find it is now called an "easytronic" What does this mean ?? or is it just a posh name for automatic ???

Easytronic is not an autobox , it is a manual box but with electronic gear shifting and clutch movement , please don't mix them up , it you have a licence only to drive a autobox then you cannot drive a easytronic gearbox . Hope this helps.

you can drive easytronic on an automatic licence.because there is no clutch pedal the dvla classes it as an automatic

It means you can switch between manual and automatic.
You still have a gearstick and just tap it upwards to change gear (there is no clutch though)
