I hope this helps:

Nucleus - The director or the script.
Mitochondria - The snack table.
Microtubules - Tracks above the stage with suspended scenery.
Golgi - Stagehands that move props around, or wires that the actors swing from (if the play has them in it).
Smooth ER - Back hallways behind the stage.
Rough ER - Prop-makers (working in the hallways behind the stage).
Lysosome - The janitor that cleans up after the show.
Plasma membrane - The walls of the theater.
Proteins (of any sort)- The actors (enzymes) and props (structural proteins).

The cell is a very, very dynamic environment. It might help to think of it as a play in a theater during rehearsals, while things are still changing, the script is being tweaked, and the props and sets being constantly built, broken down, and built again, all while the theater itself is being renovated and rebuilt. Think of clockwork-precise organization and interaction that is complex enough to give the appearance of chaos.

Why a movie theatre - far better to compare the cell to a factory!!!
