I'm thinking of buying a new mouse for my Dell desktop. The wireless mice look cool to me, but I'm not sure what do they run on? Batteries? Like AAA? Do you have to replace them all the time? Or do you think that it's eaiser to get a laser mouse?

Thank you.

Well most of the "mice" are laser today. It's kinda hard to find the old roller ball types anyway, and the fact is the laser mouse works so much better and unless you are using it on a glass table is will not need any sort of mouse pad.

Most run on rechargeable batteries, so "replacing them all the time" isn't an issue.. The battery types may vary with the brand/model of mouse, but they usually simply plug into a docking station or a USB port to recharge them

Hope this helps.
