Mind you Julia that donation was made well before the scandal of Northern Rock hit the public. (so is the inference that people knew about Northern Rock well before the public did).

sorry, I do not understand what you are implying? if Richard Branson donated to any fund he chooses that, is his, business, and does not concern anyone else
