in my opinion i would much rather see lsu, oklahoma, maybe even hawaii,
they are undefeated so why not
then ohio state and lets say mizzou in the title game
I am okay with west virginia they are a good team but i deffinetly dont want to see ohio state, they have a week schedule and their season was over a week ago so they get to just watch for two weeks.
mizzou alright they earned it
but in my opinion i would rather see some other teams up there
what do you think?

I agree. Missouri and Ohio State are crap. Georgia should play. Hawaii doesnt deserve it just because they're undefeated. You have to play good teams or winning doesn't mean anything.

It all comes down to the fact that ABC and ESPN (Kirk Herbstreit) love the Big 10. If they wanna be NC, then why dont they earn it? Step out of conference and play a team from the SEC East, who at one point this season, had 6 of their 7 teams in the Top 25. Michigan getting beat by App. C'mon, and they still deserve a NC shot. I dont think so. They shouldn't be able to redeem that loss for another 100 years. At "The Big House" too? How does Wolv. fans even stay faithful after that. Watch out next season though, I hear that Mich. and OSU both have community colleges on their schedule. Hey, I know, schedule the University of Phoenix. They may be able to throw together a team by then. Weak schedules are just like "buying" a NC with the BCS. Small schools get big money to come play big schools and every once in a while a team like App St takes home the $400,000 AND a win.

The rankings are crap, your right there. LSU doesnt deserve to be in the title game, they won every game in the 4th quarter. They could have easily been below .500 and they are overrated. Oklahoma is a good team, but Mizzou is better and if they win will be in the title game. OSU doesnt deserve it at all, they had a weak schedule, very very weak. I agree why not put the only undefeated team left in football, in the championship game. Hawaii gets no respect, just like Boise State last year and well Boise State went on the be the only undefeated team last season, and didnt evn get to play for a championship. Same thing will happen to Hawaii this season, and its just stupid.

Two flaws would help sort things out fairly....for teams who play "Division I-AA" opponents, they are deducted .1 points from that week until the end of the year. A team should not gain rating points when their season is over...they should be locked into the points total when that final game is played.

Teams who play in conference championships should not lose ranking points due to a playoff loss. The title game losers are at least locked into the ratings point total before the game is played or are given the higher point total, if that happens after the title game.

Conferences without championship games should not be rewarded, teams in title games should not be punished and teams who yearn to feast on inferior pre-conference opponents should not be lauded.

The BCS is going to sort things out next week into a complete mess and such tweaks to the system that I mention would truly make the possibility of a title game with two quality teams the best possibility.

The teams rank 1, 2, and, 3 have had an easy road to the top, but who else deserves it. I am an LSU fan. I do believe that if you give LSU a few weeks to get healthy, they would compete with anyone. But they should not be at top because they lost two games they should have won. The ones at top now are their by default. I believe if their where a playoff system, Georgia and USC would be the dangerous teams... I believe those 2 teams are playing the best right now... Not over the season but right now....

If Mizzou beats Oklahoma next week, sure they deserve to go....WVU would be exciting to watch....Ohio State mundane....anyone remember a couple years ago an undefeated (11-0) Auburn getting cheated out of even a SHARE of the National title?? Yes, BCS sux....PLayoffs are WAY overdue in NCAA....Bowls were good before so many teams were getting national coverage...now, with cable and satellite, there are a much greater number of teams getting national recognition so there will NEVER be a "fair" BCS formula.....WVU actually had a pretty weak schedule too...some impressive wins, yes, and a win over Illinois, who beat OSU....so, as of now, WVU vs Mizzou is what I am hoping to watch...if OSU gets in there, I will probably go golfing on BCS day!

1. Oklahoma lost againist Colorado and Texas Tech so they dont deserve it and theyr'e ranked 9 in the bcs rankings

2.lsu lost against Florida and Arkansas so they dont deserve it and theyre ramked 7 in the bcs rankings

3. yes Hawaii is undefeated but they have only played one ranked team (Boise State) so they dont derserve a chance and theyre ranked 12 in the bcs rankings
and i think mizzou deserves a chance in the title game if they beat oklahoma

I don't like the BCS rankings, but with how it is right now it's fair.

Also, what's wrong with the Big Ten conference stopping earlier than other conferences? It's a tradition to let the athletes go home for Thanksgiving and be with their families, since you know...they're just kids! It's not professional football. Besides, this can often times give the other conferences a slight advantage over Big Ten teams in bowl games.

The BCS rankings have always caused problems. I don't think there has ever been a year of the BCS where there hasn't been controversy. Get rid of the BCS, get a playoff system, and then maybe Division I - FBS football will actually be respectable.
