I do yoga, tai chi, go walking, and drink natural black cherry juice. The last thing (drinking the juice) I learned from an old black man who was wheel chair bound. He was very wise and one of my best friends.

I think the best things are specific knee strengthening exercises, walking, and to keep your weight down. Otherwise taking glucosamine/condroitin helps. One thing that is terribly bad for the knees, and I found out the hard way, is the StairMaster. If you have arthritis and your knees are bad, and the cartilage is wearing away, do not use the StairMaster. I realize it's good for some people, but please check with your doctor. Good luck!

If you have Arthritis you need to be seeing a Rheumatologist. Do not mess with Arthritis, the longer you leave it the harder it will be to get it under control.
