a girl i know who is 20, had 3 kids, was on drugs really bad and didnt have a place to live. she was going from place to place with whoever would let her stay. Bottom line, the DHS was called and she failed her drug test and didnt have a job, a car, and couldnt provide proof of residence anywhere so they put them temporarily in custody with family. she was given a chance to straighten up, get a job and go to rehab and get them back. she did nothing except keep wandering from place to place doing more crack and sleeping with every guy that would do her. After a year, they terminated her rights and the oldest is in full custody of the girl's grandma, the middle one is in the custody of her dad's grandma and the youngest was recently adopted by a nice family. Now she is pregnant again and still in the same situation. do you think she should be able to keep it even though she wont change? and what do you think the DHS is likely to do about this new baby.

Chances are that the baby willbecome a ward of the courts once born resulting from her track record. There is a slim chance that she could slip thru the cracks and keep the baby until social services finds out about her then theyll take the baby.

what a mess.... she really needs help...these children deserve better than this....DHS doesn't have a choice, but to step in for the childrens.. I hope she will realize this and get the help she really needs....No I don't think she can take care of this new baby... a baby requires alot of time and attention... if she is on drugs... how would she be able to give this poor child the time it needs... the baby will do without... this is unfair to the child...I'm all for mother and child staying together.... but not at the child's expense

I believe that should it become possible for this woman to be
arrested, she should be kept somewhere, for the protection of
the baby, and if the baby, Inherits a Disease / a Deformity /
etc., then I do believe she should be Charged with a Crime...
equal punishment, to equal the Crime of Destroying some part
of the infant's life...
Persons who "possess a Disease, esp a Contagious One, and
Does Risk ...getting pregnant, and the baby, inherits a Blood
Disease, from the Contagious Disease, such as STD's (incurable
kind)...should be punished..."knowingly transmitting a disease,
into another body".
We Need More Public Awareness, for Prevention of Contagious /
Permanent Diseases, of any kind.

Wow... poor kids. If she was a real "mom" she would give up the baby for adoption to a family who will give her the stability and love they need. It is heart breaking that the kids had to be separated like that. I hope she does the right thing for ONCE and gives up the baby.

She is your typical addict, its so sad,for her the kids, and all of their futures.I pray for her and the kids.I believe she will be charged if still using while pregnant of child abuse. They will take the baby. This is so sad, drugs take over many peoples lives, and ruin the lives of the children of parents that are chemically dependent.Shalom

DCS will be there when the baby is born and hopefully take the baby away. She should have learned by now. This is NO WAY to raise a kid. Tooooooo many mistakes and not trying to fix any of them......she should be fixed.
