*For the past week, I've dreamdt about this guy I was hurt by and who I loved for 3-4 years. I got over him last year. He is my acquaintance's brother. She and I went form being friends to just acquaintances..as it got sticky after she suspected I was not over him. I had a dream last night that I was at his house and his mom was talking to me and after I asked if he had a girl friend, she said "not now, jen, he can't be committed, you're the one, he will marry you, but nows not the time for things to work like you want, give it time." It was no a dream I controled, I seriously thought it was real-life. I have been subconsiously thinking about him, as Xmas is coming around, and I might bump into him. I've moved on, but sometimes I want to go back and be vulnerable, but I know I can't do that, it is n't right. What do you think?..*I don't love him anymore, I've stopped. We never went out,it was just a a far away crush.

I think you have a serious crush on this guy. The unknown area surrounding your indescission is portrait by the mother. You hope that the two of you will marry someday, but you accept that you are free at the moment, "you're the one" So Jenny my advice will be, buy him a sweet present for xmas and make sure to bump into him.

This dream is telling you that you made a commitment and the commitment ended with you being hurt. It is that guy that really wants to be with you again. This is where the mother came into the dream. The dream you had lost control of and it seemed to be direct to you bringing up past events.
It is a warning that if you get connected again with him it will turn out the same as before. This dream is a warning for you that you should not redo this again with him. It is also telling you to use your brain when making decisions about love and relationships.
Our hearts are big deceivers and will lead us down the wrong roads. The power of our heart by the emotions is great but it mostly is wrong your brain is capable of helping you with any relationship.
You should write him off as a good learning experience.

It means you have never got past this guy you were hurt by.
If it's to be a reconciliation it will happen in it's own sweet time.
Let it go and do not force the issue. Often times dreams mean the exact opposite of what you think they mean.

The Mother represents love, authority and trust and in your dream she is reassuring you (ie you are telling yourself) you are not ready to commit though you will commit to someone in the future.
I don't think the guy has much to do with it it's just that he *represents* what you may visualize as a future life partner.

1. You are reading way too much into dreams.
2. You probably shouldn't have eaten that burrito last night before you went to bed.
