Next month the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will be held in Bali. It's not easy being a U.N. bureaucrat. They face serious challenges — like where to park their private jets when they fly to tropical paradises for global warming conferences.

It's not easy having to deal with issues like where to park their private jets while deciding on the sacrifices to be imposed on us little people in the name of the global warming power grab:

Ahahahaha, that is almost as bad as the live concerts to raise awareness of energy consumption. Ahahahaha

I hereby offer my land in Floyd County, Virginia as a substitute location for the conference and will guarantee that parking will be no problem if the delegates will all come on horse back and park their rides in my lower field. We can have the conference in the pristine hollow beside the creek where the wild rhododendrons will be a good backdrop for photo opportunities. The only thing that I cannot control is the snow that might fall here in December, but since the delegates all believe in global warming that should be no problem for them. They can always ignore it like they do the medieval warming period so Al Gore's hockey stick graph will look as he wishes. They should all bring their hockey sticks. It will be winter in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and maybe I can suggest something that can do with their sticks.

Since the real threat regarding global warming is the release of Methane gas which is stored in the ocean caused during the Ice age....
...........so how did man create this?...maybe we need to all be arguing over something we Actually can control, you think?
...but then we wouldn't have carbon credits going into snake oil men like Al Gore....what a hypocrite!..not to mention and idiot!

That's really ironic... or funny.... or tragic... perhaps all three.. It will only matte if we are betrayed by our government... oh.. wait.. we are being screwed... the North American Union is a virtual lock, Amnesty will happen, and our liberty will be gone. Unless.....
Pay attention and vote.. it's a slim chance, but a chance none the less.

The hypocrite power mongerers such as Gore and Clinton should just call global warming what it really is... global governance!

Classic case of "Do as I say, not as I do". WE have to sacrifice our way of living just so THEY can live large while having zero guilt about it.

Let the downplaying begin!

This way they do not need to go through the same security our flights do. Who knows what they might pack on their planes?

So your point is that politicians sometimes engage in hypocritical behavior? Congratulations for figuring that out.

Now what is the relevance of this? It has no bearing in the least on the actual science of global warming or even on whether sacrifices should be imposed on the "little people." Although if you live in a first world country you likely contribute more than your fair share to global warming and will be less likely to personally suffer as a result of global warming, so including yourself as a "little person" is a bit inaccurate.

Should politicians personally do what they can to reduce greenhouse gas emissions? Of course. If they don't, does this mean they are not allowed to work for public policies to curb such emissions? Of course not. If we demand that our leaders be perfect before they are allowed to set policy, policies will never be set and the world will be worse off.

Your question is a red herring.
