You have to do that sometimes, telling someone the truth my be damaging. However you have to look at it from the other persons point of view. If you are asking a question and you have an answer in your head as to what you think the other person should say, then they tell you and it is exactly what you thought. Well the problem with that is you know they are lying. The truth is always what you don't expect! I always tell people the truth, never what they want to hear.

I believe in the truth, although I deliver it as tactfully as possible!
For example, a friend asks me if the dress she's trying on suits her, because she likes it, I wouldn't be a real friend if I said I did, when she really looked like a sack of spuds tied in the middle!
Also, I wouldn't put it like that! I'd say that the other dress she'd just tried on was far more flattering on her, etc!

Sometimes. But not always. I mean, my mom is 84 and she has dementia and she is now like a five year old. I just calmly agree with whatever she says because she flies into a rage if I don't. But I usually tell people what I think.

Nope, I've always found Honesty to be the best policy; gets a lot of people mad at me, and Some people dont want to be my friend because of it, but if they want to believe a lie; be guliable dushes than thats just a sick sad way of living

yes lol basically because i dont want to get on anyones bad side the stuff they prolly wouldent want to hear someone else can tell em , i just like to make things easy and make people happy ...... ( even if what i say isint true )

maybe i should! b/c i distance myself from family members because i feel like if i say what i feel it will cause a commotion. I am not good at sugarcoating anything maybe talking around things but thats it
