I've talked to several people within the last few days about Jackalopes and some think they are real, some think they are fake. What do you think?

Haaaaaa! Yup, they're real alright. I shot one many years ago on a hunting trip with Elmer Fudd. It's head is hanging on my wall in between Dumbo and Snuffalufagus, two of my other prize kills!

The jackalope is a wonderful, fictitious (aka not real) animal first imagined by cowboys a long time ago. The cross of a jackrabbit and antelope make for some very amusing pictures. Which is why even today the jackalope is the topic of many postcards, shirts, and other gifts out west.

"Jakalopes" are real but "Jackalopes" are not.
The first is a music band and the other is folklore
