Haaaaaa! Yup, they're real alright. I shot one many years ago on a hunting trip with Elmer Fudd. It's head is hanging on my wall in between Dumbo and Snuffalufagus, two of my other prize kills!

The jackalope is a wonderful, fictitious (aka not real) animal first imagined by cowboys a long time ago. The cross of a jackrabbit and antelope make for some very amusing pictures. Which is why even today the jackalope is the topic of many postcards, shirts, and other gifts out west.
