yes, since liberals say all republicans are rich and the rich pay the majority of the taxes. But then again liberals turn around and say red states are the poorest, their double talk is starting to confuse me.

No obviously your one of the fools born every minute. The fact is we all pay taxes there for we all support those programs and the truth is the Repubs don't like the programs and would do anything they could to get rid of them, they vote down most bills to help the poor and the only times they don't is when they are trying to get a vote from the poor. One part I will agree with tho is your right Repubs usually make more money so why is it that poor people pay a higher tax rate then them why is it they are given so many tax cuts Oh I know why cause Repubs give them to them. Study before you speak.

To answer your question. You say the Repubs pay for these programs they don't Dems do to I happen to be one of them. You think all Dems are on welfare and they are not. Is what suprised me is I make more then most people I know and yet with my tax breaks I pay less of a tax percentage when all is said and done then most middle class families. I laugh at your welfare check comment like 1% of all tax dollars goes to welfare I say take one of my tax breaks and give more to the people who need it most. Repubs don't seem to have a problem helping other countries poor with food, housing and protection why hate doing it for your own is my question to you? And my opinion is if soldiers can give their lives for this country then by God I can give a few dollars to help those less fortunate in the country they give their lives to protect and I can do it without crying about it. I mean not like I can take the loot with me when I go. Why not help others you would be suprised how good it can make you feel And no you don't cut the poors taxes you take away some of the uneeded tax cuts for the rich I don't need them and neither do they.

People who are on welfare don't vote against Republicans as is evidenced by those corporations who enjoy favored tax breaks, special government hand-outs, bail-outs, and government grants (not to mention all the special laws Republicans pass to favor their friends on corporate welfare and stealing from the government dole). Let's not forget all the wealthy Republicans who vote for Republicans so that they can collect a Social Security entitlement, too! -RKO- 11/25/07

Your information is inaccurate. Everyone's taxes pay for various welfare programs. However whenever Republicans make budget cuts welfare and social programs are the first ones to get cut.

If it weren't for the Democrats, we wouldn't have nearly as many welfare programs we do today.

The people who get the most welfare, do vote republican; as well as donate large sums of money to their campaigns, and hire lobbyists to tell them what to do. They are called corporations.

I'm not quite sure how anyone can get out of paying taxes on anything but food, because anyone who owns a phone, has electricity or pays gas to get to work pays taxes, I'm sure, but you know more than everyone else about it. *shrug

Correction: those who pay the most taxes feed them. And, if history is any guide, those high tax rates have probably been set by Democratic congresses.

No. The dems are the ones that push welfare programs. The reps are always trying to cut them. How could anyone not know this?

Yes.
But Welfare People vote Democrat in hopes of more Handouts.

Welfare People are the Democrat Base.
Without them, there is no Democrat Party.

You'd think that the poor would realize that for all the years they've voted for Dems, things haven't gotten better.
