I just got my first oil change yesterday and today my driveway is covered with fluids. The oil appears to be a quart low. What should I do as I'm not able to contact anyone at the dealership. I have an autoclub policy thru National Motor Club of America. I'm not willing to drive it for 38 miles back to the dealership. Help!

This service/oil change was done at a Toyota Dealership! The same one I purchased the car from.

you need to call the place that did the oil change and tell them about this first,and don't drive it,you could do damage to the engine from driving it like this,they should have to pay for a tow back to their shop and have to repair it,if it had no problems before this ,then that means they left something loose on it,your lucky it didn't do any damage to the engine from this,call them first thing Monday they are liable for their work,good luck on it.

Since the car is brand new you should have been given a number for 24 hour roadside assitance. It's normally included when buying new cars these days and it will cost you nothing to use it. The number for it is either in the owner's manual or it might even be on a sticker in one of the windows. Use it.
Have it towed by Toyota's roadside assistance back to the dealership, preferably during business hours. Ride along with the tow truck driver to the dealership and have it dropped off at the service department. Have them fix it on the spot and wait for it to be completed or if you don't have time to wait demand a loaner car - this was obviously their mistake and is a major inconvenience to you.
Most likely they either didn't tighten the oil plug properly or they overtightened the oil filter, crushing the gasket or filter casing to the point where it leaks. Since the car is under warranty and they did the service, it's their responibility to fix it.

Call the dealer and tell them the problem. You have a warranty, just keep the receipt to show the service manager. Sounds like a new lube boy forgot something. Make the dealer come to you by telling them about the leak, they don't want to pay for a motor that they can't warranty because of a bozo's mistake. They will have to give you a car to use and apologize. A new customers new car leaking like this is not the way a service manager wants to start a week off right after a holiday. Some employee is going to get an *** chewing. Good luck

First off, be sure your car is sitting relatively level and has been that way for at least at 15 min before you check the engine oil.
I always check mine in the morning before the car is started.(so it had several hours of dripping back into the pan.
Check you oil change receipt. It should say whether you had a filter change and you are getting charged for X number of quarts of oil. What does your manual say that you require? It is easy to figure out whether they forgot to add one (if that is the difference)because they changed the oil filter. What to do.....obviously if you are short, then you got to add. Keep the receipt of the oil purchase and the change that took place. They will compensate you for the extra quart.

who changed the oil? if it was the dealer, tell them to send a mechanic out and check to make sure the oil filter and drain plug were tightened properly. I wouldn't drive it without checking that, it doesn't take long to lose a plug or filter if they are loose, and if you ruin the engine by driving it without oil you have to prove that whoever changed the oil left something loose in the first place, warranty will not cover that

Top-up oil with recommended grade.
Show receipt to dealership when you get there.
I'm sure you have a neighbour who can check the tightness of the sump drain bung and the oil filter.
(could also be that the old oil filter seal got left on)

I would take it back because the warranty or pay some one else to fix it. I hope it's not an 08 Camry because that my car and I haven't had oil changed yet and don't want that problem

Jack up car, look for plug on oil pan ( where the oil is coming out) and tighten it up with wrench, they probably left it a little loose.....But they could have striped it also! if it still leaks,and its tight sounds like its striped , dealer would have to fix it in that case,,,,,,,,good luck

Sorry love go back to the dealer, because it will be expencive if not they probally stripped something or your oil pan is broke, so not cool.You should check your oil befor you drive because you can blow up the motor without oil, and break down, call the dealer!!!!!!!!!!!

If just the oil was changed, check out your filter to ensure it is tightened, as well as the bolt at the bottom of your tank.
Probably something wasnt tighted correctly.
