Aside from us all wanting peace, and our service people home, and all of the other turmoil resolved, this is the real
world. So I wanted to ask if you yourself, have a secret desire
or wish or present, you'd dearly like to have come to you? Just
this once, and it would make the happiest Christmas ever, just
for YOU!

I can see choosing is going to be more
difficult than I thought. I also hadn't thought of going back in time. I guess I
was thinking realistically, where the gift
could actually happen, with luck of course.

William R? Where are the Seychelles?
Grace? What I'd like for Christmas, is to
have my long lost grandson here for
me to see him grown for the first time.
Sage Seeker and Sapphire: Try brows-
ing in book stores, that's where you find
the 'good guys'! Guys that like to read or
buy books for others are usually of good
character.
There were alot of requests for 'do overs' and alot of good answers. I can't
choose just one. So I'm putting this up to
a vote.
Thanks for the stars, and I'm glad you
liked the question. There were just too
many humble answers to choose one
winning answer.
Thanks to all who responded.

I have given this question considerable thought. I don't need any material things and I don't want perfume or jewelry. The only thing I could really use is a little extra money.
Social Security has messed up mine so badly. They over pay a little and take back a lot more. It is really screwy. I hadn't had a check in two months and now I have another letter saying they will withhold more. Gosh, I was only getting $495 a month and they are lowering it to $451 after they get back what they say they over paid. Yes, a little extra money would be a great Christmas gift..

All the kids and grandkids meeting somewhere in the snow at Christmas, for a week. Two sets are four hours north, and the other is two states away. I miss the days when they all lived close enough to get together once in a while. That would make me very happy!

Well I'd love to have the money to go to South Africa, but then that involve someone watching my cat .

So I guess the gift I'd like isn't for me , but to have enough money to buy my friend in Winnipeg a new truck or even a second hand truck which would be new to her because her's nearly blew up on her this past week. She has no money for Christmas gifts or a car and I'd love to surprise her with a 'new ' truck.

I have a grandson who would like to play on the Jr High basketball team.

I would ask that he would be looked at for his talent, rather than the coach choosing his best friends kid with less talent or how the coach chooses for political reasons.

Yes. If he could play on the team, it would be a wish come true.

I do have to say that I have had many happy Christmases.

Thanks for the question.

I would dearly love to see some old friends with whom I grew up and haven't seen in many a year. That would be the best gift for me.

I suppose like most mothers, to see my kids and their partners, and my grandson and my friend all together and getting along. To have them all forget about who said what or did what to whom and start over with a clean slate and love and caring for each other, and just get along as a family.
