And can we get a new name for them? I no longer like the name "alarm." It's too....alarming.....!

Mine was usually set at 04:30 so I could make formation at my engineer company in the army.
Now a days we use bionics, don't even use an alarm. I wake up at about six or seven without an alarm. I also wake up at three a.m. and use the bathroom. Get an average of 4.5 hours sleep, plus a nap in the middle of the day of approx .5 hr.
What would you call me? Maybe it has something to do with PSTD. And age probably has a bit to do with it.

You get to sleep to 6:45?!?!? I'm so jealous, it's 5:30 at my house. I don't like the name alarm either but I have no suggestions.

Actually my alarm is set for 5:30 AM, and I hate the name "alarm" I usually call it the "pain in the *** that wakes me up every day"

i set mine for 6:15, I don't know what we should call it but your right, alarm sounds to harsh at 6 in the morning.

I'm up at 6am..I think alarm is appropriate because it really is alarming and gets your heart pumpin' in the morning. Maybe panic button?

I agree but i have to wake up to the beeping alarm at 4.00am everyday to take my son to work as he doesnt have an alarm yet

mine is set to 6 am when I work on weekends and at 7 am during the week for class. I dont mind getting up for work dont gotta think to do work, but school is a pain!!
