You should either have a whole chicken or chicken breast, your choice of veggies, rolls/biscuits, salad, apple sauce, filling, and milk as a drink. In some nice wine glasses put in a nice white wine. (save the red wine for Thanksgiving and the champagne for New Years)

Eggplant, tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, maybe some olive oil all sauteed in a skillet until soft, but still slightly al dente, with some parmesian garlic bread...
