sex but the condom broke....would the hormones from the morning after pill still be in affect?

You need another form of birth control. The morning after pill is for emergencies only. If you had sex the next day, the morning after pill should cover you. But, if I were you I would make a dr. appt right away and get on some birth control.

it is good for 48 hrs from the first time you had sex so it should still work if it was the next day after that. You are probably fine because you only ovulate for about 3 days a month and that would be the only time you can get pregnant so chances are slim.

don't risk anything- the morning after pills aren't 100% effective and might not work for long.

The medication is cheap enough. Go out and get another dose just to make sure.
