Bush is the worst president the country has ever known. I voted for Gore, who actually won the election, and would vote for Gore again.

If Gore had been given his rightful position of president of the US - we wouldn't be in this stupid war - gas wouldn't be $3+ a gallon and the US wouldn't be sitting number 37 in the world as far as healthcare goes.

So instead of putting labels on yourself about "liberal." versus "conservative," - educate yourself to what each party stands for.

If you are reading Yahoo, chances are you do not fit the profile of a person who Bush helps with his policies. He only helps his cronies, who are rich, white, old-money good old boys. Anyone who doens't fit those criteria - Bush wouldn't spit on you.

Be realistic. Bush is not anyone's president, but special interest- big-money and oil companies.

Why would you still vote for Bush after everything he has enabled to happen? He's not the real president anyway, Cheney is. People who would vote for Bush again need mental health care.

I would chose Gore the same as I did the last time. Why? Because Gore has sense and is for the people. Bush was ans still is a hypocrite with half a mind that doesn't know what the other half is doing.

I have noticed that the only people who have answered this question so far are still polarized.

Can anyone not recognize that this could be a reasonable question looking for thoughtful answers?

Defensive attitudes along party lines, or "conservative"/"liberal" are hurting our country. What we need are intelligent discussions among candidates, among voters, and between candidates and voters.

Sound bites, quick and shallow answers, and polarized candidates and voters have done so poorly I would think people would just stop it--but sadly it continues.

Please, God, please, send us good candidates before I die!

Q: "Why are you waving your hands like that?"
A: "To keep the elephants away."
Q: "But there aren't any elephants here!"
A: "Works pretty well, doesn't it!?"

Iraq was not where the terrorists came from, dummies.
Oh, but yes they are there now--we caused them to move in.

Bush again. If it had been Gore, we would still be ringing our hands and trying to figure out why the terrorists don't like us and how 9/11 was our fault. Hell, he probably would have apologized for putting our buildings in front of their high jacked planes.

How can this be a choice?? Bush would win in a heartbeat! Gore is chasing after illusions and running a country isn't about illusions!
