first i have to tell you i play music. so i can remeber being a prejudiced person towards it. you know this is great that sux kind of thing. it was i think becouse it gets overwhelming to like it all. i have friends that still are that way.so the stick with the music of their age and social groups. once i matured i started liking the writers more than the singers. and then it grew from there. there is no terrible music . just terrible attitudes. sometimes we need calming music sometimes we need music to reve us up. sometimes we need inspirational music sometimes we need it to lull us to sleep and sometimeswe need music for romance. anyone who clainms they dont get involved in sound this way is lying to you and themselves. but i wont say i dont have a favorite if im alone its instamental if its a crowd its rock in a bar its dance music always i listen for great poetry in the songs ,rarely does it ever happen. i have to admit that rap doesnt do it for me ever , but thats my age i guess. if i went to the clubs it played in i can see its appeal. but even their words dont inspire me. i know this wont get a point but for all musicians out there - stop the hate, and create.
