When you're in high school it sure seems that way. Man ... if I knew then what I know now. All those people that thought they were so cool ... total has beens - honestly. It's not about "cool" ~ it's about being kind and good hearted.
Besides ... "cool" varies in everyone's book. Someone who I think is quite a cool person ... someone else may think is not. So it doesn't really matter when there is no specific description. Being kind, good hearted, and having integrity however ... now these things are quite clear. I have found people that are made up of these qualities are by far the kind of people you want to have around in life ...
and those traits my friend ... are what's really "important".

Depends on how old you are.. All the people that were "cool" in my high school are all washed up now (I am 31). If you are the parent of a teen, being cool is the most important thing in the world (to them anyways!!!)

...it is really important to be sweet...and do and say good things...
...because...well..I have seen guys trying to be cool....wearing the perfect clothes....(some guys are worse than girls...)and driving a cool car....even have a cool job...but none of that matters to me...if they are not sweet....
