Yes! Constant negativity will wear anyone down.
Most negative thoughts are just a few thoughts that just run over and over again in your mind. Tell yourself those thoughts aren't real. Breathe. Force yourself to think positively. Maybe even try shome tai chi.

Yes. But I try to look at the positive thoughts too. Having a house over my head, food to eat, not being outside in the cold like other people, not being over seas, actually having the choice to wake up and decide what I want to do that day instead of having someone else tell me.

No, not at all. Negative thoughts, even hurtful, awful ones are a part of all of us. They will come and go as they wish. Nothing you can do about it so don't worry about it.

Some days are better than others.
Can't go around being jolly happy all the time.
At least not if there isn't anything to be jolly happy about.
That would be mighty unrealistic imo.

Sometimes. I try to eliminate those thoughts by closing my eyes and imagining every positive thing imaginable.

Oh yeah and what's crazy people always call me optimistic. I can be optimistic when it's regarding other people but when it's me I'm my own worst critic.
