I am doing this for a school project. What are things besides agression in violent games though, because that is what most of my research has given me. You can give stories if you want, but I would just prefer effects. Thanks for your help!

my opinion. i dont think video games makes people violent... it just makes them more sensitized (used to violence to a point where it doesnt bother them much) to violent if they play violent games such as the infamous Grand Theft Auto.
a bad thing from playing game too much is your eye sight. it gets bad fast due to the flashing lights, and most gamers like the room dark to better reflect the tv screen... which makes it even worst...
some kids experience seisures from games/anime.
times missed spent with family/friends. no social life.
homework not done. school work not done.
sleep less in order to play more game. lack of sleep.
no exercise. couch potato. sitting all day.

Negative affects from playing video games.....
Degraded eye sight...however doing anything involving your eyes, like watching television or staring at the computer for lengths of time can cause eye strain.
Seizures/headaches/nausea...but these can be caused by any kind of rapid color/light motion. Kinda the same effect of going into a club with six strobes going and the music and balsting ear drum level.
Distancing from family and friends. Some researchers have done studies saying that video games can cause relationship problems, work problems and mental issues such as depression. However, I think that the people were depressed and turned to things that would take their minds off of their problems. Kinda like turning to alcohol or drugs, but less deadly.
I don't think video games make people aggressive. I think video games are a good way of getting rid of aggression.

Well I play video games and most of my friends do. Video games have affected my eye sight alot. Because alot of the games get you so into it that you don't want to quite, so here it is 5 am on a school night and you have not sleep at all and you have school in an hour. Also you get very sleep daprived. And you also get really bad aches and cramps all over your body, not just in your hands from the video games, but from not sleeping and letting your body recharge. Hope you get a good grade.

loss of eyesight (but then so does your computer and tv)
aggression? this one could be yes and no. why? as a matter of fact my friend plays a ton of the most violent games and guess what he is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. maybe the person will be frustrated but only for a while it doesnt permanently make them aggressive.
lack of physical exercise.
too much gaming could cause loss of social life skills
instead of having quality time with the family, instead you prefer to lock yourself in your room and play games
