What do groups like the "Skull and Bones" do exactly? Are they somewhat influential in our government or are they just a club who try to make everyone jealous for not being in it? It all reminds me of childhood games to be honest.

Since they are secret societies, their actions are, well, somewhat secret. Most groups that are thought to be secret, like the Freemasons, are actually not secret societies and are generally fraternal groups dedicated to community service.

I would do some research on the "skull and bones" group, but as you do, read the ones that claim "conspiracy" with a very skeptical mindset.

Well to answer your question you would have to jion a particular group to find out what they do if they would have you. You have to be a specialkind of person up to thier standards. That is why it's a secret now isn't it? Because your not suppose to know what they do, when and how they do it. They have rules that are not to be broken.

Ask a Mormon EXACTLY what goes on in the Temple. Oh, that's a secret, too.
That's why it's called a SECRET society. They do things IN SECRET so no one will know.
If you tell a secret, it's no longer a secret.

I'm always a little leery of secret organizations. Some of them can be very powerful, but you can never be sure if they are doing what's legal or right. I suppose that's why they keep themselves secret.
