Studying psychology can't drive you crazy. Nevertheless, studying psychology makes you more aware of yourself; past and present. This knew knowledge about yourself maybe disturbing or at least uncomfortable at first. You'll be destabilize. Changes will occur in yourself but like any changes, it's usually gets worse before it gets better. With this new information about yourself, you'll be more aware of your patterns, giving you more freedom (more control on your life, on your decisions). This new freedom will able you to make new choices... because most people repeats patterns, or cycles in their choices and their behavior.
In other words, it is like the Matrix, once you realize the truth, there is no turning back... but you'll see reality in a more accurate way.

My pshcy classes always made me feel much more normal than I thought I was. Also, a lot of psych classes aren't necessarily about higher cognitive functions. Spending 2 months learning about vision was interesting, but it had nothing to do with "craziness" as it's defined in daily use.

I have a bachelor's degree in psych and I ended college saner than when I started. It's law school that drove me over the edge...

No, it is not possible to know to much. I study psychology myself. I am actually planning to go into that field of study in college. If this is even remotely possible and you want to fix the problem, take some stress medication.

It might make you a hyperchondriac, but you have to remind yourself that you can't possibly have all 7 of the diseases you covered this week, and so it's highly unlikely you have any of them!
