i think its because the developments are different according to instinct survival skills, the same reason why puppies immediately start to learn to walk than babies that have their eyes open

Human babies are born with their eyes fully functional, so they can be opened. Puppy's, kittens, and others need much longer before they are developed and they can open them

like the otehr's say hman babies are born with functional eyes- at 26 weeks into pregnancy a baby human is suposed to be able to start opening their eyes

Because babies are born with completely functional eyes, puppies are not. Theyre still developing.

Humans are one of the few creatures born FULLY developed. Most others are not yet.
