I had intra muscular injection on Friday and was a wee bit wary. The nurse who was in with doctor told me when he had gone that men are more likely to be afraid. would you agree?

I've never had any fear of needles at all and have been a blood donor for over twenty years. I have seen many so called macho types run off at the sight of the needle and a few have actually passed out.
I think men are more scared of injections!

All the men I know hate needles. I don't mind injections, but when i give blood it makes me go all funny. It's horrid.
But I'm not afraid. I have a high pain tolerance.

After getting allergy shots for years and years. And when giving blood seeing how fast we could fill the containers. What do you think? The adrenaline shot to the heart is the one I'd be afraid of. Going through the brestplate first... Owwww.....

Men are not used to pain like us woman ,
That's why they are scared of injections ,
Women are used to dealing with pain .
I'm not afraid of needles

the injection you had would of been painful,but i agree men are more afraid,even when talking about needles they cringe.I hate when the doctor aims up to jab..cheers :(

Fine had my flu jab over a month ago but one of my daughters will suffer any pain rather than have that needle and shes in her mid twenties

Im ok with em. Having my flu jab tomorrow. (girlie by the way)
My son had a tattoo to see if it cured him of his needle phobia. Theory being there are lots of small needles. But he couldnt stay in whilst his little girl had her heel prick!

I agree, men are wimps about shots a lot of times. I'm a woman and fine with them.
