Have you ever felt like arguing with someone over something so trivial it's not worth it or just because of plain boredom?

yes i have, dont think its because of boredome. its because the person is totally talking rubbish and you cannot stand it any longer...

Maybe occasionally, but hardly ever. Sometimes I read questions here that are so pointless or indicative of an empty or closed mind that I am just too tired and bored of them to answer.
Some people just aren't worth arguing with.

Yes i do it all the time!!! sometimes deliberatley but then sometimes a cant control it!! I even find myself saying things even I dont agree with just to get a reponse from someone!! I love arguing!! sometimes I even do it on yahoo questions and answers!! Its like I can feel my blood boiling inside me until I start bein a *****!!

Whenever i hear someone make a statement expressing opinions with which i'm not familiar, i tend to pick holes in it mentally because my "someone else's idea" alarm goes off. It isn't just when i'm bored though. It happens all the time.

Yeah, I do it to my boyfriend occasionally just to reassure myself that he cares about me. I love him to death and every once in a while I just feel the need to make sure he still feels the same way. It's one of those girl things and for me it's more fun than just asking him if he loves me... why not add a little spice to the situation? Haha :)

i sued to do it with my friend a lot. she never understood why i was doing it though
i did it because she let a lot of ppl walk over her and her ideas so i argued about anything and everything so that she can learn how to back herself up

Yeah, sometimes me and my sister fight over stupid little things. Like we just fight for fun, but we don't. Also me and my best friend fight over small things too. I just get bored like you said.
