If you get distracted easily, what are some things you do to keep yourself on-task?

I have the attention span of a puppy.

1. I need a CLEAN workspace.
2. Set time limits - this will be done by 2!
3. Make a list of everything you have to do in a day/week, etc. I even put a few things that I have already completed on the list so I have something cross off. (Lame!)

Thoughts bounce?

It takes mental strength to guide your focus to where it doesn't want to stay. You just have to keep returning them to the task at hand when they drift off.

Separate yourself from your focus too. It's simply your "consciousness", a physical thing. It's truly separate from your body (i.e., turned off during sleep). Learning to control it takes time and mental strength but well worth the time.

Ask yourself occasionally if you are controlling your mind or if it is controlling you ; )
