They look so false now as opposed to the 'atmospheric' lighting previously.

Is it something to do with HD?

Velvet - how does changing from video to film make a difference?

They havent changed the lighting it is the film they are using, looks like they switched from video to film.

It is to do with the quality of the film, the husband has gone down the pub now so I cant ask him to expand, but trust me, It's not a wind up!

I noticed something different on Holby about a month ago! The image seems to flicker slightly or something? I thought i was just tripping, but yeh, i guess it could be something to do with converting to HD cameras or sumink?

Ohhh I dunno - can't say I had noticed, but then I don't notice that sort of thing!


EDIT : Hubby just came in and said they have changed the aspect ratio on this programme (clever git!) Dunno what that means though!
