What if Jordan had stayed retired after the 1993 season?

What would his legacy be if he never came back in 1995 ?

How would he be percieved with those 3 rings?

I remember thinking Magic Johnson was still the greatest. Michael Jordan came back with an incredible jump shot which both him and Karl Malone had late in their careers that really stood out and made your jaw drop. It was incredible to see the 2 battle. Jordan just dominated like he did before and you knew those shots were coming and there was nothing anyone could do about it. I liked the old Bulls team much better. They were a far better team than the overrated second unit he played with that included Rodman and Harper. Jordan proved to me at least he was the greatest no doubt when he returned.

"Westcoastin4life"..... how did it cement HIM??

He DID have other teammates, did he not. What about Scottie Pippen? He played on all 6 championship teams.

You watch too much ESPN

Jordan's return possibly cost the Bulls a title in 1995.

In the series with Orlando, Jordan had the ball stolen from him by Nick Anderson, and then, in the final seconds, Jordan threw the ball away, costing the Bulls a sure win and the series. Thanks to Jordan's PR Dept, this gets buried.

Jordan's legacy would be that he was "one of" the greatest players in history. The fact that he won 3 more titles in the watered-down 1990's doesn't help him one bit!

He still would be considered an All-Time great, but maybe not the greatest. Plus, with 3 rings, he still would be behind Magic Johnson and tied with Larry Bird.
Like Jim Brown, everybody would have wondered how great he would have been if he continued playing. His last 3 championships cemented him as the greatest player ever, almost a 1 man dynasty.
