In this day and age of "tweeners" it is hard to have a definate BADGUY and GOODGUY. Noone "needs" a guy to stoop to that low of a level to beat another guy with brass knuckles to be hated. With all the interenet info and all of the ppl thinking they are smart about the business(which is FAR from the truth) a "bad guy" becomes a bad guy for reasons other than the reasons that should make him a bad guy.
Bascially, wrestling has lost the need (and ability IMO) to make a person a bad guy through storylines and angles. Since that art has been lost, the use of things like brass knucks, rolled coins, chains wrapped up in your hand, etc etc, no longer plays a major roll in wrestling.

The problem is it was too subtle. If you were a few rows back you'd have to hear the announcer tell you about the "foreign object". So now they use chairs and other large objects so you can see it all the way to the back row.

No. Ever since William Regal hung up the boots the use of them has decreased. Edge uses them sometimes.
