No...it makes me feel sorry for a lot of those people. Many of the people that are on Dr. Ray's show don't even need work done. they just live in a part of the country where looking plastic is ideal and normal. They should come over on the east side of the country.... no one should want to look like Mandy Lynn from America's Most Smartest Model

I wanted a nose job for years and I finally had one my senior year of high school, which helped bring my facial features in better proportion and made me more confident about my profile. Although I've thought about other procedures that I could have done, there comes a point where you have to accept yourself, with flaws and all. When it comes to anything below the neck, I would rather work hard and workout to get my desired results and to say that I did it on my own. On the other hand, if there's something that really bothers you when you look in the mirror that makeup can't fix, it may be very hard to accept unless you possess a great deal of self-discipline. Either way, I try to not compare myself to other women, or else I would never be able to be happy with myself. If you remember that tv is purely entertainment and that all women have something they would like to change about themselves, you might be able to find inner peace and strength to accept yourself as you are.

I know what you mean. I just remind myself that many times there are problems that come up later. I worked with a girl who had to get her breasts done 3 times because she kept having problems and refused to just have the implants taken out. She was only 29 and it looked horrible. I also know someone who got a horrible infection from a tummy tuck and someone else with a bad nose job.

Nope, actually it has the opposite effect on me. I'm certainly not perfect, but I am all natural and I have accepted my body the way it is. My husband loves me how I am, so I don't feel the need to change anything.

Not really. Sometimes it makes it seem like everyone has to be "perfect" but mostly it just makes me feel like I could never do that. When they show how much they cut into your body and all of that, it horrifies me.

not really, especially when I see the after effects of things gone wrong. Ex: Hollywood actress over 50 surgeries looks worse than the Halloween Jason!
Or the lady who lost her legs because of surgery gone bad.
Nah it doesn't bother me at all.

Yea.
It can really make you more aware of your flaws.
Nip/Tuck is one of my favorite shows,
And I get that feeling a lot.
Mostly because they take beautiful people and find a million things wrong with them.
Then you think, well, if there's that much wrong with them,
Then what's wrong with me.
