From my question asked a few days ago, I have decided that I really need to have a marine quarantine tank. Would the following equpment be suitable - 60 litre tank (the largest fish would be a yellow tang), a small internal filter (would be running in the main tank until needed), A small heater, Small rock and light. Would I need any different equpment, and would I need anything else?

just light, watercurrent and a heater is adequate for it

And no, this is not an adequate sized tank as quarantine, you will need at least a 30 gallon tank, which is about 120 litres especially if you're keeping tangs

Hope that helps
Good luck

@jessica's answer covers it in basic terms comprehend the considerable ingredient approximately it: you may desire to save a healthful biologic and mechanical clear out on the QT tank, or shift it to the substantial tank while no longer making use of the QT. i do unlike shifting the clear out through danger of a affliction organism going from the QT to the substantial tank. in basic terms feed the QT tank as quickly as each week while this is empty/has no fish in it. in specific circumstances do a water substitute on it with used tank water from the substantial tank somewhat of recent water. (nonetheless do universal water alterations with new water, fairly while preserving a fish or medicating; a small tank is greater durable to maintain healthful without greater care) An risky Quarantine tank is genuinely ineffective. It must be set up and maintained like the substantial tank in a wellbeing concern with great water high quality in any different case it might desire to no longer succeed.

why do you want to stress them twice?? thats a sure way of getting sick fish. I,f you purchase from a good shop, and know what you are doing then you should not come across many problems. I have been keeping marine life for nearly twenty years without all these problems.Keep a good environment for them to go into, be compatable with what is already in the tank, and let nature take its course.
