Risk, because it requires a lot of involvment and strategy, but also a little bit of luck, so even if you're not doing so well, you can make a comeback in the game. I played a game with my friends once that lasted 36 hours, and we just called it a draw.
Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit are tied for #2.

I love word games, Scrabble is my favorite. I don't think there are too many board games that I don't like actually. It depends on who wants to play(like a young child)

Sequence...it's a board game and a card came combined I guess. I always play with my boyfriend and his family. I'm addicted to it because I always win!! You should check it out if you don't know what it is. I love it!!!

connect four...though its not technically a board game, its great fun, that and jenga, but Monopoly takes the cake.
