they came with different ones in them to be sure about it you,ll have to get the numbers and run those through to find out what that one actually has on it,Chevy used different gears in them,also look on the tag id plate on the rear end and there's an information sticker in the glove box,it should be listed on it ,good luck on it.

Get the axle number on the left hand tube and ask your Chevy dealer there were many ratios depending on the size of motor and transmission option.

Ring Gear 8.6" Axle
Ring Gear 9.5" Axle
Ring Gear 9.75" Axle
Ring Gear 10.5" Axle
